Man on Dirt Bike Killed After Colliding With SUV in Saugus, Mass.

A man on a dirt bike was killed on Saturday evening, after colliding with an SUV in Saugus, Massachusetts, according to police.

Officers arrived to the intersection of Jefferson and Newcomb avenues at 8:19 p.m. where a 25-year-old man from Swampscott had somehow collided with a Nissan Pathfinder.

The dirt bike rider was transported to an area hospital and later pronounced dead. His name is not being released at this time.

There were three occupants in the Nissan, including two children who were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A preliminary investigation determined that the dirt bike was unregistered and the driver did not possess a motorcycle license.

So far, no charges have been filed.
