Police Pull Body Out of Providence River

Police in Providence, Rhode Island are working to figure out the identity of a man taken out of the Providence River on Saturday.

According to WJAR, the medical examiner says it is too early to know what may have caused the body to go into the water or if foul play was involved.

The location of the body in the river made it difficult to remove for rescue crews.

Police tell WJAR that they estimate the body was in the water for "at least a few hours" before it was found.
