Police Report Three Gunshot Incidents in One Night

There were no victims in any of the cases

Police in Worcester, Massachusetts, say they responded to three separate gunshot incidents over a few hours early Saturday morning.

The first call came around 2:18 AM from 218 Vernon Street. Upon arrival, the police found observed that the front of the building struck several times with large caliber rounds that penetrated the walls of one of the apartments. No one was home at the time.

At 4:00 AM, police responded to 15 Winthrop Street for another report of gunshots. Here they found a parked vehicle that had been struck by a shotgun blast. Officers located a spent shotgun shell in the area.

Five minutes later, officers responded to a third report of gunshots in the area of Groton Place. A spent shotgun shell was found on street here too. There were no victims or damage to property.

The cases are under investigation. Police and detectives are collecting evidence from all scenes and working on identifying the suspect/s involved.
