Police Seek Vehicle That May Have Caused Fatal Rollover Crash

Massachusetts State Police are asking for help identifying a vehicle that may have caused a fatal rollover crash in Mansfield on Monday.

Initial investigation reveals a 55-year-old Norton man was operating a box truck near Exit 12 on Route 495 southbound when he lost control and crashed into a wooded area. He was transported by medical helicopter to Morton Hospital in Taunton where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation; however, police believe a red vehicle may have cut off the box truck, causing the operator to lose control. Anyone with information is asked to call the Foxboro State Police Barracks at 508-543-8550.

No charges have been filed.
