Cromwell police are looking for a man who robbed a Cromwell convenience store at knifepoint on New Year's Day.
Police received a 911 call Friday at 8:23 p.m. reporting an armed robbery at a West Street store.
A man displayed a knife and demanded money before reaching over the counter to take the cash drawer out of the register and stealing an undetermined amount of money, police said. He fled on foot.
No one was injured and police haven't found the robber.
Police said the robber was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head, black pants and his face covered.
