Police Seek Sub Shop Robber

The suspect allegedly forced his way into the restaurant as an employee was taking out the trash

Police in Laconia, New Hampshire, are looking for a suspect who robbed a D'Angelo restaurant on Tuesday night.

At 9:04 p.m. Tuesday, police received a 911 call reporting a robbery at the D'Angelo restaurant on Union Avenue. By the time police arrived, the suspect had fled on foot in an unknown direction. 

A K-9 track was initiated, but the suspect was not located.

Information from the scene indicated that the suspect forced his way into the restaurant as an employee was taking out the trash through a back door. He then ordered other employees to open the cash drawers, and took an undisclosed amount of cash. One employee was able to run out of the restaurant and call 911.

No weapons were displayed and no employees were injured.
