A man and child have been hospitalized after a shooter opened fire on a car driving in Providence, Rhode Island.
The man was shot multiple times and sustained non-life-threatening injuries when someone opened fire on their car around 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to WJAR.
Police said the child in the car was also injured, possibly by broken glass. The child was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital for treatment.
A woman in the car was not injured.
Police are were searching for the shooter as of Wednesday morning.
