Police Seek Suspect in Armed Gas Station Robbery

The suspect may have had a handgun

Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, are looking for a man who robbed a gas station convenience store overnight.

Police were called to the Mobil On the Run at 2391 Brown Avenue around 1 a.m. for a report of a robbery.

The store clerk told police that a man wearing a tan or brown hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a blue bandana over his face walked behind the counter and ordered the clerk to give him money from the cash register. The suspect was described as being over 6' tall and heavyset, between 240-270 lbs.

The clerk said the robber might have had a handgun, but he could not confirm it because he didn't see it.

The suspect left the store on foot and ran to the south toward Evans Expressmart. A police K-9 attempted to track the suspect, but lost the scent a short distance from the crime scene.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call Manchester Police at 603-668-8711 or the Manchester Police Crimeline at 603-624-4040.
