Police Seize $30K in Oxycodone During Traffic Stop

A Boston man was arrested in Rhode Island after state police said they found $30,000 worth of oxycodone during a traffic stop.

Eston Tavares, 34, is facing a charge of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Police pulled over Tavares on I-95 in West Greenwich Thursday morning.

A total of 1,002 oxycodone pills were seized from his vehicle.

It's not clear when he will appear in court of if he has an attorney.
