Police arrested a suspect for randomly assaulting and robbing a man in South Portland, Maine, on Saturday.

    Police arrested a suspect for randomly assaulting and robbing a man in South Portland, Maine, on Saturday.

    The 57-year-old male victim was walking to work around 5:45 a.m. when the suspect violently assaulted him, took his belongings, and fled on foot.

    A police K-9 tracked the suspect from where the incident occurred on Q Street.

    Shane Cote, 18, was arrested and charged with Class B Robbery. He is being held on $1000 bail.
