Police Warn About Suspicious Man Following Women in Braintree

Braintree police warned people Monday night of a suspicious man following women near Watson Park.

In one case, the man allegedly assaulted a woman.

One of the alleged victims, 29-year-old resident Kayla said the man grabbed her behind around 11 pm Saturday night, as she was walking home from a nearby party.

"I screamed and he just ran off after that, and that's when a neighbor came out and he kind of helped me through it and then I called the cops," Kayla said.

Kayla said it all happened so fast.

"I didn't notice him following me until right before it happened. I was looking around right before that and I didn't see anything and then all of a sudden he was just there."

Another alleged victim, who is a pregnant 33-year-old mom, spoke off-camera.

She was walking her 14-month-old son in the area around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday when he followed her to her home.

This time, the man even walked by her house a few times, and then followed up her driveway.

That is when the victim said she let her dog bark to frighten the man and called police.

In both cases, the women describe the man as a tall male with a white t-shirt and black shorts.

The pregnant victim additionally said he was neatly cut and shaven, carrying a white iPhone and basketball.
