Police: Woman Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated With Son in Jeep in New Hampshire

Police say Shauna Graham had several open containers of alcohol in her possession

A Vermont woman was taken into custody on Monday night after state police say she was driving drunk with her 8-year-old son in the vehicle in Grantham, New Hampshire.

Authorities said a trooper observed a Jeep Grand Cherokee driving erratically at 9:10 p.m. on Interstate 89.

After pulling the driver over, police said the woman was found to be in possession of several open containers of alcohol.

The driver, identified as Shauna Graham, 47, of Rutland, Vermont, was given a breathalyzer test which measured .11.

Police said by New Hampshire statute, driving while intoxicated with a passenger under the age of 16 is an aggravated level offense.

Graham was taken into custody and is scheduled to be arraigned in the Newport Circuit Court on September 20.
