Police: Woman Caught Smuggling $23K Worth of Drugs to Inmate

A woman was caught trying to smuggle drugs into a men's prison in New Hampshire over the weekend, according to authorities.

State police say 30-year-old Sierra Maskell of Eden Mills, Vermont, was arrested Saturday at the men's prison in Concord during visiting hours on charges of conspiracy to introduce articles to prisoners and possession of controlled drugs.

Maskell was allegedly found with 74 Suboxone strips, cocaine, Ritalin and drug paraphernalia.

Police say the estimated value of the drugs is $23,000.

Maskell was allegedly bringing the drugs to Ronald Truell, who is serving a two to 15 year sentence for robbery.

She'll be arraigned on June 3. It's unclear if she has an attorney.
