Police: Woman Crashes on Maine Roadway and Overturns Vehicle

Police say speed was a factor in the crash

A Maine woman was injured Monday morning when state police said her vehicle overturned five times in Sidney.

Police said the crash took place around 11 a.m. on West River Road.

Authorities said Jordan Agger, 20, was driving northbound when she somehow lost control of the vehicle and skidded off the roadway.

The vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its wheels, about 40 yards down a steep embankment.

Police said Agger was wearing her seat belt and the vehicle’s airbags deployed.

Agger had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken by medical helicopter to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

Police said speed was a factor in the crash.
