Police in Kittery, Maine, are investigating after a man driving a white van with tinted windows approached a young boy.
Officials say the 7 year old was in the area of MacDougal Street around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday when the man in his 50s or 60s got out of the van and went toward him.
The boy ran away to a neighbor's house.
According to police, the suspicious man had white hair and a beard. They say he was wearing a red hat, a red shirt and jeans.
The van had a roof rack. The license plate is not known.
