Authorities on Monday located a man who got lost in the woods in Rutland, Massachusetts, with the help of a mutual aid police canine.
The man, in his 20s, left a house party at around 3:00 a.m. He called his mother some two hours later, saying he was lost in the woods and cold, the Rutland Fire Department said.
The police and fire departments from Rutland and Hubbardston located the man a half-mile into the woods with the help of the canine. The man was taken to the hospital.
