Arrest Made in Fatal Rollover Crash on I-495 North

"It's devastating, my first born, and I expect him to outlive me."

A father's grief...after his 37 year old son, Jarrad Aronne, is killed after what Massachusetts State Police call a case of "road rage" on 495 north around 10:30 Monday morning.

"He's a great kid and he'd do anything for anyone, always hard working and would never forget his family. I'm going to miss him," said Thomas Aronne, the victim's dad.

Monday night, a house full of people, grief-stricken family and friends, gathered at Aronne's Foxboro home.

His dad says his son is an electrician and was on his way to a job with another worker when the deadly crash happened.

State Police say Aronne was in his pick-up truck on 495 when the driver of another pick-up, 67 year old Michael Hinds of Norton, intentionally hit Aronne's truck.

Both trucks, police say, got off at exit 12, and both crashed again. This time though, Aronne's truck rolled over at the ramp.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger was medflighted to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition after being partially ejected from the vehicle.

Hinds allegedly fled from the scene where police say he was later found at his Norton home.

When they did find him, police say they also found an open alcohol container in truck.

Hinds now faces seven charges including motor vehicle homicide while under the influence of liquor, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and operating under the influence second offense.

Aronne's dad say his son was a sports and car enthusiast, and above all, a dad to three children, including his fiancés two children.

Hinds is being held on $200,000 bail. He will be arraigned in Attleboro District Court Tuesday
