    R.I. Native Speaks Out After Shark Attack in Hawaii

    A Rhode Island native is reflecting on a terrifying shark attack while he was surfing in Hawaii last week that left him hospitalized.

    According to necn affilate WJAR, Colin Cook was attacked last week off Oahu's North Shore.

    He will remain in a rehab facility in Hawaii for about two weeks before he returns to Rhode Island.

    Meanwhile, friend back home have set up an online fundraiser for a prosthetic leg.

    Cook is appreciative of his friends, saying, "Thank you guys. I love you guys for the support and everything you guys have done for me. Rhody's the best."
