RI Rape Suspect Apprehended in Mass.

Reynaldo Rios was arrested Wednesday in Brockton with help from local police and the U.S. Marshals Service

A man police say sexually assaulted a woman in a Woonsocket, Rhode Island, public housing complex last week has been apprehended in Massachusetts.

Reynaldo Rios was arrested Wednesday in Brockton with help from local police and the U.S. Marshals Service. Tips led police to the Boston resident's whereabouts.

The victim told police she had been talking to someone with the username "Ben Franks" on a phone app for a few days before agreeing to meet.

During the meeting, the victim says the 36-year-old Rios asked her if they were "going to do it" and she refused.

Police say Rios then raped the victim at gunpoint and threatened to kill her before fleeing.

Rios is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday on a fugitive charge. It's not clear if he has a lawyer.
