Firefighters in Longmeadow, Massachusetts say a recovery operation is underway after a sewer project accident involving a worker.
The incident happened inside a trench dug out on Hazardville Road, according to Town Manager Stephen Crane.
Officials say the trench filled with water after a pipe burst, trapping the worker.
Crews expect to be on scene throughout the day.
