Like many Americans, Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly was apparently smitten with Ken Bone, the man who gained internet fame this week when he posed a question during the second presidential debate.
Kelly took to Twitter Monday to share his admiration for the bespectacled Bone.
He offered Bone tickets to Monday’s divisional playoff game at Fenway Park against the Cleveland Indians.
Wearing a bright red sweater, the mustachioed Bone posed a question about energy policy during the debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. He quickly became an internet sensation.
