Remains of Missing Woman Found

The state's chief medical examiner identified the remains as Denise Hart, 24, of Connecticut

State Police in Vermont, are investigating a body discovered Tuesday in Goshen near a state highway.

The state's Chief Medical Examiner identified the remains as Denise Hart, a 24-year-old Connecticut woman missing since January. The remains were discovered near Gap Road by passersby. 

Hart was last seen leaving a friend's home in Sudbury, Vermont, after a visit, according to investigators. The car she was driving was found burning the next morning.

No further information was immediately available Thursday night.
