Police in Auburn, New Hampshire, say a dead dog was found in a container near the Manchester Water Works Friday morning.
The older, female Yorkshire Terrier is described as black and tan in color and weighing about 13 pounds. According to police, the dog was wrapped in a blue blanket and white sheet.
The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Auburn Police Department.
