Report: NH Man Dies in Saudi Arabia, Family Claims Foul Play

Family members suspect foul play after receiving suspicious text messages, according to the Union Leader

The family of a New Hampshire man, who died in Saudi Arabia, refuses to believe it was suicide, according to the Union Leader.

The newspaper states 50-year-old Chris Cramer of Milford was found dead in Tabuk on Jan. 15, and that family members were told he committed suicide by leaping off a balcony of his hotel.

The Union Leader reports the family suspects foul play after receiving suspicious text messages from Cramer just minutes before his death.

"We, at Kollsman, are all deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Chris Cramer and are offering our continuous support and assistance to Chris' family and his colleagues. Like the family, we are eager to learn more about his death and are in continuous contact with the US Department of State to strongly encourage their assistance in obtaining the final report of the local police regarding the circumstances surrounding Chris' passing. It is important to bring Chris home to his loved ones and we are working closely with the family to expedite the repatriation of Chris. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Chris' family and friends during this difficult time."
