New England Patriots' Dion Lewis Out for Season with Knee Injury

New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis is done for the season after suffering a knee injury in Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins, the Boston Globe is reporting.

Lewis left the game after carrying four times for 14 yards and catching four passes for 39 yards. On his final reception, before hitting the turf, he grabbed at his left knee and then remained down on the ground while being tended to by Patriots medical staffers.

He eventually walked off the field under his own power, but he was visibly upset as he did so.

More to come.
