Police: Suspect Fled After Pointing Gun at Officer

A Boston police officer discharged his weapon when a suspect pointed a gun at him Sunday night, police said. No one was hurt and the suspect is still at large.

A Boston police officer discharged his weapon when a suspect pointed a gun at him Sunday night, police said. No one was hurt and the suspect is still at large.

According to police, the call came in around 11 p.m. for the shooting at 155 Talbot Avenue near the Joseph Lee Elementary school.

Police say the suspect fled the scene after the officer discharged his weapon. The suspect's gun has been recovered and Boston Police continue their search for the suspect. Massachusetts State Police are assisting in the investigation.  

Police said earlier that officers had come under fire.
