3 Displaced After Nashua, New Hampshire House Fire

The Nashua home caught fire around 8 a.m. Saturday morning

Three people were displaced after a home on New Searles Road in Nashua, New Hampshire caught fire around 8 a.m. Saturday morning.

The Nashua Fire Department reported heavy smoke upon arrival at the scene. Initially, they were told by a resident that someone was trapped in a bedroom, however that person was found safe outside the home.

As they fought back the flames billowing from the house, firefighters also had to deal with live power lines burning off the home and dropping into the area where crews were working.

Firefighters declared the house uninhabitable due to heavy damage on the second floor and smoke damage throughout the rest of the home.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The incident is under investigation by the Nashua Fire Marshal's Office.
