Revere, Mass. Mayor: City Getting Back to Normal After Tornado

The tornado in Revere, Mass. tore through buildings last week

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick is taking another route to try to get federal tornado relief to Revere.

He has sent a letter to the Small Business Administration, asking the SBA to issue a declaration of physical disaster for Suffolk County.

If it works it would allow people and businesses affected by the tornado to get low-interest loans.

Revere Mayor Dan Rizzo joined us with more on cleanup efforts.

He said progress is going well and the city is getting back to normal.

He said a tornado relief fund was set up for people who needed assistance and there has been $111,000 as of Monday night.
