An SUV crashed into a radio station in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

It happened overnight Wednesday at the WNRI radio station on Diamond Hill Road.

Authorities tell WJAR that a man, identified as 29-year-old Thomas Hill of Woonsocket, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital after being removed from the vehicle, where he was treated and released into police custody.

Hill was charged with driving under the influence and possession of narcotics after police say they found a small amount of pills inside the vehicle.

A building inspector visited the scene to check the building's condition after the crash, which is still under investigation.

Hill is expected to be arraigned at Providence District Court later.

It's unclear if he has an attorney.
