A SWAT team had been at the scene of what police were calling an "ongoing situation" for hours.

Just after 12 p.m., officers responded to Audio Video Solutions Incorporated at the strip mall on Route 28 for a well-being check for a despondent man.

Police said the man had barricaded himself inside the store with numerous weapons, including high-powered rifles.

The SWAT team and crisis negotiators were brought in to assist.
