Arrest Warrant Issued in Mass. Woman's Murder

Police are looking for 32-year-old Emilio Delarosa, who was identified as Wanda Rosa's ex-boyfriend and the child's father

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man suspected of murdering his ex-girlfriend in Methuen, Massachusetts.

The victim, 29-year-old Wanda Rosa, modified her restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, 32-year-old Emilio Delarosa, three months before she was found dead in her home, according to court documents.

Police announced Tuesday afternoon that an arrest warrant had been issued for Delarosa, the father of Rosa's 4-year-old child.

Rosa was found dead inside her home Monday morning. Her child was found inside unharmed.

Rosa had filed a restraining order against Delarosa, who also has a criminal history. He served four years in prison for assault and battery on Rosa in the past.

According to court documents from June, Rosa modified her restraining order to allow Delarosa to have contact with her son again so they could "do things together as a family."

Delarosa, who is on the run, is not considered to be a danger to the public, according to the district attorney.
