    Hartford Police

    Hartford police arrested several people after busting a suspected drug house on Friday and said they had information that several people from Puerto Rico were staying there with guns and working as enforcers. 

    Police raided an apartment on the second floor of 535-537 Zion St. because they suspected several people had guns and were dealing narcotics from the apartment. As the emergency response team went in, several people ran out the back, went into other apartments or tried to escape through the back yard, police said. 

    Inside the apartment, detectives found a female. Outside, officers and detectives stopped the people who were fleeing, police said. 

    During the search, detectives found a loaded .22 caliber firearm, 470 bags of heroin and 270 bags of crack, police said. 

    Outside the apartment, detectives found 13 fentanyl patches, $300 in cash and 10 bags of heroin, police said. 

    Inspectors from license and inspections and housing also responded to the scene. 

    Armando Colon, of Hartford, was charged with criminal trespass, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

    Eduardo Ortiz, of Hartford, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and possession of narcotics. 

    Frank White, of Hartford, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and possession of narcotics. 

    Bradley Gonzalez, of Hartford, was charged with possession of narcotics and interfering with police. 

    Ramon Benitez, of Hartford, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plates and insufficient insurance. 

    Hipolito Aldana, of Hartford, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and possession of a controlled substance. 

    Luis Rivera, of Hartford, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and interfering with a search warrant.
