Police in Rhode Island are investigating a report of a sewing needle in a child’s Halloween candy.
A 2-inch needle was found in a single serving of Airheads candy in Portsmouth, police tell WJAR.
The child had visited several houses in the area and gone to a public Trick-or-Treating event.
Police are urging parents to double check their children’s Halloween candy.
