Shelter-in-Place Lifted at Mass. High School After Bullet Found

A central Massachusetts high school was locked down Monday morning after state police said a live ammunition round was found in a school bathroom.

The shelter-in-place has since been lifted and classes have resumed.

Troopers are on the scene assisting with a search of North Brookfield High School.

State police said there wasn't a threat to students, but everyone inside the building was told to remain in place.

State police are assisting North Brookfield police in the ongoing investigation.
