A Vermont man was cited for driving 120 mph on Interstate 89 after he posted a video showing the dashboard and roadway to his Facebook page.
Justin J. Billado, 26, of Swanton was cited on Friday for negligent operation and is scheduled to appear in Franklin Superior Court on Dec. 1.
Vermont State Police said they received a tip on Oct. 31 about a Facebook post and video taken from inside a vehicle travelling over 120 mph. The video was determined to have been shot on I-89 between exits 20 and 21 in Swanton.
Further investigation revealed that the driver, later identified as Billado, was operating a 2006 MINI and had recorded video of the dash and roadway and posted it to his Facebook page.
