Detectives are investigating the stabbing of a 28-year-old Spencer man, who is being treated for two stab wounds to his right arm.
The victim was uncooperative with investigators. A friend drove the victim to the emergency room after the stabbing occurred.
Investigators believe the victim engaged in an altercation between a group of men earlier in the evening at the Hotel Vernon. When the victim walked to his vehicle on Lamartine Street, the group approached him again and a fight broke out.
The victim's wounds are considered to be non life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
