State Police Arrest Man on Drunk Driving Charge

New Hampshire State Police arrested a man for drinking and driving early Sunday morning in the town of Salisbury.

New Hampshire State Police arrested a man for drinking and driving early Sunday morning in the town of Salisbury.

Around 3:45 a.m., a trooper stopped a vehicle traveling 80 MPH on Route 4. After a brief investigation, the trooper determined that the 22-year-old motorist, Lee Anderson of Portsmouth, was impaired. He was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Anderson is on probation currently and was held on cash bail at Merrimack County Jail. He will be arraigned at Franklin County District Court on March 9.
