Students Disciplined in Maine School Sexting Scandal

Boys at St. Dominic's Academy were competing to collect sexual images of teenage girls

Between 15 to 20 students were recently disciplined following a sexting scandal at an Auburn, Maine, Catholic high school.

The Lewiston-Auburn Sun Journal reported that the students received suspensions and community service. School administrators at St. Dominic's Academy said the incident took place last month.

The newspaper said boys at the school were competing to collect sexual images of teenage girls, and girls were being asked to forward nude pictures of themselves to the boys.
