Sun glare and driver distraction is blamed for multiple crashes in New Hampshire.
Just before 9 a.m. on Monday, police received several calls regarding motor vehicle accidents on Rt. 16 southbound on the General Sullivan Bridge in Newington.
The first crash involved five vehicles, the second crash involved three vehicles and crashes three, four and five involved two vehicles.
One operator was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital as a precaution for reported neck pain.
The left lane of the roadway was closed for approximately 90 minutes to remove disabled vehicles.
