Police say a woman attempted to smash out a cruiser window with her head after she was arrested Saturday night, necn affiliate WCSH reports.

According to York County Sheriffs in Arundel, 53-year-old Paula Gagne of Biddeford was sitting in a snowbank on Mountain Road and had told a passerby that her family members were abusing her. Investigation yielded Gagne had two outstanding warrants for her arrest.

Police say Gagne tried to flee the scene, but was caught. Once in the cruiser, they say she tried to smash out the cruiser window with her head.

Gagne was charged with refusing to submit arrest and unlawful possession of Schedule Z drugs.
