The Quincy, Massachusetts, Polish immigrant accused of abusing a dog so severely it had to be euthanized is due in court Friday.
Radoslaw Czerkawski, 34, has a hearing for outstanding animal cruelty indictments.
Czerkawski made national headlines back in 2013 for allegedly abusing a pit-bull known as "Puppy Doe."
Prosecutors say he repeatedly beat the year-old female pitbull.
Czerkawski was also sentenced last month to three-to-five years in prison in another case for stealing $130,000 from an elderly woman he was hired to take care of.
