Police are searching for two suspects involved in a home invasion in East Hartford, Connecticut.

The suspects, driving on Route 2, took Exit 5 to East Hartford and got off at Riverside Drive. The car then struck an electric pole near the intersection of Sutton Avenue and Main Street.

155 customers went without power as a result, according to Eversource. Eversource spokesman Frank Poirot said that until shortly after 9:30 a.m. his crews could not begin restoration work because of the active crime scene. Crews are now working to fix the pole and repair the damaged equipment.
