Teen Arrested for Attacking Dog Walker

Kyle A. Guerra-Therrien of Haverhill, Massachusetts, faces several charges

A Massachusetts teenager faces several charges after he allegedly harassed and attacked a woman walking her dog.

Kyle A. Guerra-Therrien of the Bradford section of Haverhill was arrested on July 3 after a police investigation into an incident that occurred on June 30 in Groveland.

The 19-year-old is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, use of a motor vehicle in commission of a felony and littering.

A 47-year-old woman walking her two dogs told police a silver Honda drove by her, and one of the occupants threw a beer can at her while yelling obscenities at her. She said five minutes later, the same car came back and the occupants were hanging out the windows yelling at her again. Then, the vehicle passed her for a third time and the occupants were making obscene gestures.

The victim says during the third pass she was able to get the car's license plate number. Police traced the car to a 69-year-old Haverhill resident, who told investigators that his grandson had been in possession of the car at the time of the reported incident.

The investigation remains ongoing, and police are seeking to identify the other occupants of the car.
