A 16-year-old boy has been charged with assaulting a female inside Leominster High School in Leominster, Massachusetts.
The Sentinel & Enterprise reports that the teen was arrested Monday morning by a school resource officer.
He was charged with indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 years-old, assault and battery and strangulation.
Police say the alleged victim did not need medical treatment.
The boy has been indefinitely suspended.
A juvenile court judge in Fitchburg will determine whether the student will be released or if bail will be set.
