A 17-year-old boy has died more than a week after being shot in Billerica, Massachusetts.
Saturday afternoon, Nicholas Bomboy succumbed to the injuries he suffered on June 26. The boy was shot at a home on Andover Road, where police recovered some airsoft guns and a high-powered pellet gun.
Bon Boy was taken to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He passed away just after 1 p.m.
Police say the shooting was not random and that the public is not in danger.
Police are investigating.
