A 17-year-old escaped without injury after he crashed his car on a New Hampshire bridge and the vehicle came to rest with one end hanging over the Merrimack River.

Police say Colin Malone of Nashua lost control of the car he was driving Saturday afternoon, hitting a snow bank. The Honda Civic skipped up and landed on the guardrail of the Sagamore Bridge.

The rear end of the car was suspended above the river.

Malone was cited for failing to stay within marked lanes.

Police do not believe drugs or alcohol played roles in the crash.
