‘This is a Robbery': Boston Suspects Caught on Camera

A man and a woman can be seen - and heard - on surveillance footage as they robbed a women's clothing store on Boston's Newbury Street.

Soodee Women's Boutique says it was robbed just after 2:30 p.m. Friday. Police confirm they are investigating the incident.

"This is a robbery," the man can be heard telling the clerk in surveillance footage shared by the store.

The man proceeds to put his hand in his pocket, suggesting he is armed. He calls the woman over to the counter, as well.

"We don't want to hurt you, is the thing," the woman tells the clerk.

"Open it, please," the man says, pointing to the cash drawer.

The cashier can be seen taking the money out and handing it to the woman.

"Here you go," she says.

The man can be heard thanking the employee before the woman grabs the phone off the counter. They briskly walk out of the store.

The man in the video is wearing a gray hooded Adidas sweatshirt with three dark horizontal stripes. The woman is wearing a red hooded Abercrombie sweatshirt with the hood up.

Police would only confirm that the investigation is ongoing and that no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information should call Boston Police.
