Tractor-Trailer Driver Pinned After I-93 Crash

Police said the cab was torn from the vehicle frame and struck a tree late Tuesday

Police are cleaning up after a tractor trailer went off of Interstate 93 northbound in Concord, New Hampshire, crashed into multiple large trees and rolled over, trapping the driver in the vehicle.

Police said the cab was torn from the vehicle frame and struck a tree late Tuesday, pinning 37-year-old Keith Spence of Meriden, Connecticut, inside. The impact of the crash ruptured both fuel tanks and caused the box trailer to break into multiple pieces.

Police helped remove Spence and took him to Concord Hospital, where he was being treated for serious injuries but was reported to be in stable condition.

The vehicle is owned by Ross Express in Boscawen, where Spence was headed.
