High pressure should deliver us plenty of sunshine for a quiet travel day tomorrow, sunny sky, high temperature 40 to 45°.
Clouds thicken up tomorrow night, a weak low pressure system crosses New England on Thanksgiving Day.
The result is a rather gray Thursday, with some off and on light rain at the shore or rain/snow mix inland.
Precipitation amounts should be less than a 10th of an inch, with only a dusting of snow in the higher elevations. Roads should be more damp than icy.
Precipitation may intensify a little bit Thursday night, probably a chilly rain south, and some light snow in the higher elevations central and north.

It is a challenging forecast after Thanksgiving, with low pressure expected to intensify in the Gulf of Maine, bringing occasional rain and snow for the weekend.
Friday looks mostly cloudy with scattered showers of rain near the shore and snow in the mountains.
Saturday and Sunday may feature heavier snow in the mountains, and periods of rain perhaps changing to snow, near the shore. It does look like a raw gray weekend with temperatures in the 30s and 40s.
