A trial is scheduled to start for a New Hampshire woman accused of killing her 3-year-old daughter.
Katlyn Marin is charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of Brielle Gage. Prosecutors say Marin assaulted Brielle several times during Thanksgiving week in 2014 and she died shortly after being rushed to a hospital that Nov. 25.
An autopsy determined she died of blunt-force injuries.
In court documents Marin's lawyer has argued that her former boyfriend may have been responsible for the toddler's death.
